Keyless GO issues
first of all, this is a very minor issue for me, however it is ANNOYING.
everything works perfect minus 1 thing.
when i get off the car and place my thumb in the handle to lock the doors = IT WORKS RANDOMLY. like a 50% chance of locking the doors this way.
unlocking works flawlessly.
so most of the time i have to reach in my pocket and manually press the LOCK button on remote.
i do have a titanium ridge wallet (https://www.ridgewallet.com) in my pocket along with the key.
all other keyless systems i've had (nissan, infiniti, lexus) worked fine.
anyone having random issues with their keyless systems?

Just to confirm you are touching the outer side, body colored part of the handle?
The inside of the handle is for unlock. Also the indent rectangle is mainly for pulling windows up.
Try touching the outer side of the handle with your palm. Report back please.

Assuming you're operating the system correctly, there could be a software issue. Some 2015 models had keyless go issues that were resolved with a software update.

I get this with just one of my rear door handles. If I touch it a bit longer it locks. Haven't raised it with the dealer as I don't want the whole door in bits!

Are you holding the handle when using your thumb? Just a thought....
I tend to use the back of the hand to almost brush the outside of the handle, and this normally does the job, and prevents the system getting confused

I've owned two C300's, and had another C300 as a long term loaner. ALL had issues with Keyless Go.
My current C300 Sport, which has been relatively trouble free, also had its share of intermittent Keyless Go problems. I was lucky in that this car did throw an error code showing a "communication" error, and my dealer was able to apply a software update that pretty much cured the problem. I say "pretty much" because I will still, every once in a while, get no response when I try to lock the car. The manual lock button on the fob will work, so this becomes only a minor nuisance.
Recently my wife was getting a "no fob detected" error when she tried to start the car. This happened a few times, and only with her fob, so I changed the battery and that seems to have been the fix. The car did not generate its "low battery" warning for the fob, but apparently that is what the problem was.
If you have issues with Keyless Go, the first step is to swap out the fob batteries even though you may not have gotten that "low battery" warning. If the problem persists, have your dealer check for error codes and apply the appropriate software update if called for. That's really all you can do.

The only thing that I experienced up to know is that I left the car once running and get out of range with the key. Once I came back, key not detected appeared on dash, even the key was in my pocket. It didn't disappear and make an annoying noise until I gave up at the middle of motorway and turn it off and run it again. I have never experienced such thing with my Honda before.

just touch the backside of your hand on the OUTSIDE of the door handle, that's it. any door will work. works any time.

First I had one battery show low power message on the dash, the other key was fine.
Then last week the Keyless Go died and no keys or door sensor works now.
I have to use the buttons to unlock (both new batteries replaced) and I have to use the keyin the ignition barrel to drive.
Another Week and a half before the dealer can fit me in!

My keyless Go issues went away after the dealer changed the main car battery and the fob battery.
First attempted fix was a software update which reduced the number of occupancies but did not resolve the problem totally.
