Is that something that has to be activated at the dealer through DAS coding, or can anyone with duct tape and an Ipad do it?

Great! So I finally get the thing working, but now when I go to use COMAND nothing shows up on the screen! It stays on CarPlay the whole time. Called Apple a bunch of times and even drove to their headquarters but the only thing they said they would do was send me a "restraining order" whatever the heck that is. (Some kind of module????). WTF Mercedes?
