C450 Lease Deal

Hi guys,

Just came from the Benz dealership -

Here's what I got:

C450W4:
59,795.52 with tax and all.

3500down = payments are at 699/month.

36/10K

Good deal or not? Dealer didn't give me any of the residuals etc..

Car price was 58,790 then they gave 3K off which was 55,790 add tax and all 59,795.52 total walk out price.

I'm in Houston, TX, went to MBSugarLand

Thanks!

Get from the dealer the residual and MF for May, download my Lease Deal spreadsheet and fill in the data. It'll tell you if the deal they gave you results in the payment you're expecting;

Www.carbuyingsite.wordpress.com

Here's a link there to Edmunds leasing forum where the mod constantly updates residuals and MF on the 205. You can enter that data in the SS and just verify with the dealer.

That sounds correct for an ez negotiation. I'm paying $700 for a 48 mo, 10k. Nothing down, NYc tax in the payments, bank fee waived. $62k MSRP. The same deal on a 36 mo was $800.

Very high. Don't do it.
For a $57,000 car I was able to find $637 a month including 9% sales tax.

I'm paying $725 a month including 9% tax.
3000 total drive off
12k miles a year
36 month lease
Car was $72,400
Sales price was $60,890

Unless you're able to calculate your own lease payment you have no clue whether or not you got a good deal.

Ask dealers around you for 15% off MSRP. 3k off is a rip off. Don't do it.

I got mine in LA and what I noticed when shopping around is that when looking at the dealership inventories they all seemed to have double if not more of the C450s then they did of the other C class models.
So when negotiating I knew they had to come down quite a bit for the MBUSA national ad just to move a car.
Started by negotiating the sales price of the car to 16% off and then just matched the numbers to the residual and buy rate on the Money factor.
