Just a quick before and after of a tip vicviper posted re disc hub Zinc galv painting..

process;
Wheels off
Wire wheel on cordless drill to hub center, face and shoudler (and as far into the recess next to the swept area as possible)
Douse in brake cleaner and scrub with terry towel
Mask off calliper, floor, suspension and body work ( i just draped old towels for this, and didn't bother with tape.. )
Spray light repeated coats whilst rotating disc..


Note you will over spary onto the swept area.. it will get rubbed off by the pads...
You will get paint on the brake pads shoulders as the over spray rubs off on them. just wipe carefully off with old towel..


With such an open wheel design it has taken years off the apearance of the car..


This was on my father in laws CLK W208 (good test bed should it go **** up)..
