So the dealership just got back to me after performing a test fit...no go.
19" front multi-spoke AMG wheels from a C300 WILL NOT FIT on a C450. The only way to do it is to use 3mm spacers...and I'm not a spacer guy.
At least my car comes with all-season tires, so I don't have to rush on buying Summer wheels.
So now it looks like I'll be selling a set of 19" AMG multi-spoke wheels from a 2015 C300...

I have ran spacers and tracked cars, there really is nothing to worry. But, I'm not really trying to convince you, only give you some information.

C43 isn't really that much better than the C450 (minor improvements, yes, but nothing earth shattering). If you can put together a great deal on a C43, it's worth paying a little more for IMO...but if you are looking at 14-16% off a C450 and only 5% or less off of a C43, take the C450 and run. Great car and can be had at a great price at the moment.

That was my thought process as well. I was going to hold out for the C43 (or a BMW 340i), but after learning of this sweet deal on a C450...that and hearing about the price jump on the C43 itself, together with the increase of the pre-paid maintenance plans & extended warranty...so what if I don't get the 9 sp tranny and I really don't care if the C450 is a couple tenths a second slower.
It is not unheard of that they've just made their 0-60 times reflect that of real world data to make the C43 more appealing. (C450's are reported to run 4.5s 0-60 in the real world - results supported by journal reviews of the vehicle.)
Even if it is a few tenths faster to 60, I doubt it will be much, if any, different in the quarter mile.
It's easy to change the ratios for a more favorable 0-60 time. For instance, the Cayman GT-4 has, somewhat of, a poor 0-60 time, due to the gearing they chose. Yes, the 0-60 times suffer - but the drivability on the track increases. A true sacrifice made by the Porsche engineers to favor what's actually important.

So after doing a bit of research, the offset for the 19" wheels on a W205 is:
C300/C400
Front: ET 44, Rear: ET 52
C450
Front: ET 33, Rear: ET 52
...and because my C300 19" multispoke silver wheels are a different color than the C450 multispoke titanium wheels...there goes reusing the rear wheels (since they would fit).

They all have pano and thus weigh more base but I'm guessing the times reflect more aggressive gearing (cars weigh roughly the same, and the base weight on the coupe is higher since they all have pano , it also has worse EPA milage due to the weight)

I just bought a 2016 C450 at 16% off sticker...I pick it up this Saturday. It only has 13 miles on it!
MSRP - $63,660...sale price - $53,474 (after June incentives and fleet discount), and I received full trade-in value for my 2015 C300 Sport 4Matic (according to Kelly Blue Book).
