W205 comand system USA??
Can anyone with the upgraded comand system in the USA confirme or deny if it shows traffic speed limits in the display as my audio 20 with map pilot does? Or does it show it anywhere on the dash?

The speed limit graphic shows up on the left display (between tach and speedo)also (MY16) . I have COMAND and DA, no HUD.

I do not have the DA package, and my COMAND/navigation does not show posted speed limits at all. Very annoying omission, and a feature that is part of every other navigation system I have used.

In Europe, the speed limits ( as well as other road signs) are detected from the stereo cameras as part of the lane keeping system, so Driver's Assistance package is required for it to work.
In the US, they use map data, and only have speed limits, so there is no technical reason to have it as part of the driver's assistance package, but I'm guessing for marketing purposes and to keep the package descriptions the same in both markets, it appears MB decided to leave it as part of the Driver Assist package.

So if I get the driver assistance package and multimedia Comand package but don't get the heads up display... Is there any other place to view the posted speed limit ((screen, or gauge cluster)) other than the HUD??

It displays on the nav screen, and I think the gauge screen if you are displaying the assistance screen.

my first car ('09 GTI) showed speed limits but my current 2015 car does not, what's up with that? so tired of the premium brands skimping on features that tgw others have had for years
