C450 Lease Commitment

Hi everyone on the 205 forum.

I have been "trolling" this forum for the past two weeks, hemming and hawing over a C300 Sport or a C450. Well, I dove into the C450 pool this afternoon and believe I made the right decision. I figured for about the same price as a well-outfitted C300 lease I could upgrade to (and afford within my budget) a C450 for just slightly more.

It appears that a 48 month lease offers the right residual to justify a longer lease and provide for lower monthly payments. For reference, the C450 I secured is very basic at $59,930 plus PPM. It is Steel Grey and MB-Tex/Dinamica with full LED Lighting, P02, Multi-Media, Pano, metallic paint, heated seats, and back up.

For reference my lease consists of...
- 48 months
- 10K miles per year
- $2,100 for upfront fees (acquisition, tax, licensing, docs) and 1st month's payment
- 10 MSDs and Autopay (which reduces my MF to .00049)
- $480.01 a month (which includes tax and PPM)

Additionally, I am able to take advantage of a 3 month LAP on my 2014 CLA, which MB Finance will credit $1,200 back to me and not charge me the $595 disposition fee.

I thought it was a fair lease arrangement and one that I was able to do at my local MB store and with my preferred SA. Thankfully the car was not used as a loaner or service car.

Nice deal! Thanks for sharing.

What was your cap cost on the MSRP of $59,930?

I had MB Club and Amex Silverstar coupons, each worth $500 which are not combinable with fleet, but can be combined with the standard trunk money. which went up $300 more for June.
