Factory Tour
I was on an rv trip thru Alabama a couple weeks ago and stopped in and did the factory tour. Very impressive facility that even has a small museum with some significant vehicles (1st motorcycle and first automobile in the world along with a mint 58 300SL Roadster, among others).
Factory had literally hundreds of robots. I don't know what's happening in the way of acoustic side glass but I did notice the cars coming down the line had alignment marks where the rear bumper extension lines up with the top of the fender. I guess MBZ got tired of paying their dealers to realign them.
