Service A Question
I was always under the impression that at 10,000 miles service A would need to be performed. I just hit 7,000 miles yesterday and I got a service A reminder to take in the car in 30 days. Today it says 29 days. Just wondering if this is normal or if anyone else had the same thing happen? Thanks

if your 10k comes outside of your warranty period then no....
Also as they state "whichever comes first" then you ought to expect a discusion if you have an issue and have not followed the factory warranty guidelines... particularly if the issue is directly related to a service aspect eg engine oil & filter..
also consider there are many running changes which are applied to these cars within the services which you will be missing out on.. or at least waiting for....
for an expensive and complex vehicle best just to follow the guide lines and budget accordingly..
Personally i change oil and filter at mid year.. because its a 15min job and cheap to do.. and i want my motor in best possible shape noting direct injection engines have been known to put fuel int othe oil.... ..... same for my wifes as she does many short trips.. no issue warrnty wie here, just wanting to do the best for mine..
