SD Scan

I put 96 videos on my SD Card, and they play fine. I then added 34 more, but Comand will not recognize the added files. I tried to erase all the files, and then copy all 130 to the SD card, but Comand will only recognize the original 96. How do I force Comand to rebuild the database so that I can play the added files?

OK, I'll answer this myself. I found a work around - just rename the SD card, and it will re-scan the files. There must be a better way...

I had a similar experience....not with videos, but with mp3s. I just took the SD card out, selected a different media source, then inserted it back and selected the SD...then it finally recognized the newly added files. As you said, perhaps there is a better way than mine too.
