Distronic Sensitivity
The one situation that makes me feel uncomfortable in my C is as follows....
When I have Distronic engaged, and when I approach a car (from behind) that is travelling much slower than me, my car waits for what seems like a long time before braking, and at that point it brakes quite hard. If I were driving, I would have started braking quite a bit sooner but more gently.
Has anyone else felt uncomfortable under the same circumstances?

You should still stay alert and in control of your car.

Maybe the autopilot was busy thinking of something else at the time
Sometimes it certainly waits until the last minute to slam on the anchors - other times its completely normal. Keep in mind though, the sensitivity seems to also be variable in reference to:
a) the distance setting you have applied; and
b) the Agility mode currently set.
It's definitely more aggressive driving in Sport or Sport+.

I have a 2016 C300 4Wheel drive, and like you I feel very uncomfortable when approaching a vehicle from behind as it seems to brake at the last minute and then very hard. Definitely not the way I drive. There must be other complaints about this feature maybe MB has a fix?
