So I have a '13 c250 and my ac compressor went out .checked with my tech and he says for labor it will be 150. Just out of curiosity has anyone had one changed. My car has 65k miles. Didn't think it would go out that soon. Also how many hours did it take y'all or the person that did it to finish the job. Thanks in advance.

P.s. I could only find compressor at dealership for 1000.00 so I bought a original used on eBay for 200.00. Let's see what happens.

 

consider yourself lucky. mine went out in my 2016 c450 two weeks after purchase. it's being replaced now and should be ready next week. obviously it's still under warranty so i shouldn't be charged but i may still be able to see the cost on the invoice. if i do, i'll post it here.

 

I see Rockauto has new compressors for $260.
