It was 25% off on black friday. The gold pigment I got from Aliexpress was dirt cheap, 200g for less than 20 bucks.

I thought about it, but I don't think it will stick. It might actually melt the vinyl. The chemical is pretty strong. I poured some in a very thin plastic container and it deformed the thing.

Car looks great! Reminds me of those Austin yellow M3s and it does stand out a lot. huyuci You are definitely a pioneer and a fearless one at that.

Here, I call it California Gold Rush
I think it looks sharp. Nice to see something more daring than the standard color line-up. Can you wax over the coating? or is the coating designed to protect against salt, mud, etc. on its own?

Thank you for the kind comment. Color is very subjective, so what looks good to one may not look good to the others. But I kind of like this one. I had black and white. They both look good in their own way. But like I said, it's time for something new. I can't buy a new car every 2 years, so this is as close to getting a new car as I could get

Thanks. The coating is already good enough against mud or salt or whatever. But it's perfectly fine to apply wax over it.
