Having some comand issues. Navscreen activating please wait... is all it says. Radio bugged and basically everything else is either crashing or acting up.
My 2016 with less than 1500 km C63s went into the shop @ Thursday 28th July early in the morning.
And it is still not done.......
Is this normal for Mercedes? I have had my fair share of cars but this is really taking the price!

Not typical but possible. Sometimes a parts back order sinks you. They had my 221 for over two weeks on a back ordered air strut. I had my 205 loaner so long I decided to buy one.

The only thing I can think of is that electrical issues can be difficult to locate. It might be a situation where it is not merely the COMAND unit or screen, but something less overt. Hypothetically, they could have swapped out the COMAND unit and that didn't solve it and they may be trying to chase a short through the system.
Just guessing here, but I would hope they are at least keeping you aware of what they've done and what they are trying. Have you spoken to them and asked for an update?

My Audio 20 took 10 working days to fix. They'll try and fix it over the internet first of all, connecting it to Germany. Then they will get someone to write a software patch for an easy fix and if that fails they'll see about ordering a replacement unit.

If they have to replace an abnormal part they do not keep them on the shelf. I know sounds stupid. I'm currently waiting for a full wire harness that is hand built to my vin code per the options my car has for my wife's 2014 w204. And the turn around for it is 16 weeks. So needless to say my wife isn't happy driving a car that has a check engine light on due to a false O2 sensor code that gets thrown. And we have dealt with it for 2 months prior to them ordering this wire harness and I'm assuming 1-2 weeks for an install so in total I will have dealt with this for 6.5 months definitely not a good experience. I'm just hoping it doesn't fix the issue and we can just do a buyback. Fingers crossed
