Fitting Cla Wheels on my C Class
225/50R17 7Jx17 ET48.5 5x112 M14 x 1.5 66.6
And, these are the values for the cla wheels that I want to get
225/40R18 7.5Jx18 ET52 5x112 M14 x 1.5 66.6
Would they fit with these offset and other values?

Generally if you're changing wheels you're doing so to improve the aesthetics. Going to a higher offset wheel tucks the wheel deeper into the wheel well. Most owners want to improve the stance by widening the wheels outward. That requires a lower offset wheel.
You want to either match your current offset or go lower. If you go lower, the clearance issue is the space between the outside top edge of the tire and the inner edge of the fender.
Also, if I calculated correctly wheel is 10mm closer to inside, and extends an extra 2mm to outside because of new wider wheels.
How can I measure the distance between the wheel and strut.

Put your hand behind the tire and feel for the strut. If there's more than a finger width gap you should be fine. Or run a small 5mm or so spacer so it will barely move in.
There's no inherent problem with spacers, if properly installed they do the same thing as purchasing a wheel with more offset built in.
Avoid spacers and hub rings if at all possible. Much smarter to choose a wheel with the offset you're looking for in the first place. If you've got a line on a specific set of those CLA wheels for an unbelievable price I'd do spacers and hope for the best. Otherwise not.
