S65 E320
correct I am in the tropics and I have that smell in my 2002 E320 but not in the S65..... condensation is what it is... and if the window is down you are going to have it running harder.
I also put the bead condensation drying canisters in the boot and cabin to suck up additional moisture as humdity in the air during the wet season is very high

A note on the AC temperature settings:
When temperature setting is set to "LO", the recirculation door closes automatically, regardless of chosen recirculation setting.
When set to "60" (one notch up) the recirculation door opens, unless the recirculation setting is turned on (closed).
Also, the operator's manual states that the ionization (to help reduce odors) will operate in the "Auto" setting.
