I should, however, my storage space is quite limited living in center city with an indoor shared garage with 300 other tenants. Unless my in-laws wouldn't mind me storing an extra set of wheels in their two car garage

So, I wanted to add some clarification regarding the "drone" of my touring exhaust, what I experience is a constant hum around any cruising speed, whether its 30mph or 60mph, when the rpm is resting between 1850-2200rpm. Not sure if that is what you consider as drone but sure enough it wakes up to a roar if I drop the hammer. Otherwise, if Im steady cruising at that rpm range that hum will be a constant background noise. No complaints from me tho, I like having my exhaust notice by my neighbors inside and outside of the cabin

Finally had my touring exhaust installed on Friday, yes there is a drone at the rpm range Tmoney mentioned but its not unbearable unless you have real sensitive ears.

If you step on it though, that is when the fun begins as there is definitely more backfire (even heard a crackle/gargle in comfort mode a few times), throatier and is loud enough for me.

I'll see if there is a change in sound over the next week or two as the exhaust breaks in.

Did you get the track or touring?

Right on. The slight drone is definitely bearable. I'm glad I went with touring in the end, as I would never be caught driving in comfort (my initial plan was to get the track edition and drive in comfort at times when I want the car to be more quiet). The sound of the exhaust will settle in over time(I'm about 1200miles into it) or maybe its just my ears getting used to the soundtrack. But I do love how its so much throatier now and also love how every burp fart snap crackle and pop is more pronounced and predictable/easier to control because it happens at that specific rpm each and every time rather than the hit or miss on the sound effects with the stock setup

My track edition over the last couple weeks has been approaching unbearable. I wouldn't want to go on a road trip with it. I don't think I could handle it.

I know what you mean, I definitely could not live with that. I'm on the fence about the touring setup. I'm kinda waiting to see other exhaust with the valve control option hit the market place.

AWE tuning touring exhaust will be the best bang for you buck in sound and performance out of all the aftermarket options so far. The drone in the touring is really minimal, it's as loud as the runflats. All background white noise, you won't be cruising enough for it to bother you cuz the sound at WOT is too addicting to not driving like a dbag at times

Also, have you noticed that the car shifts at a slightly higher rpm now after the install? The car is definitely more powerful on the top end now and I think it kinda hangs there slightly longer than stock after the install
On your awe touring edition do you have any drone? I've just installed mine but it seems like the "drone-cancelling" technology is not working fully. I'm still getting a humming noise

EDIT should have read the rest of the post. Looks like everyone else is getting the humming as well. When i installed my exhaust the cross bar came a bit close to the exhaust pipes too. How can I tell if it is touching when I'm driving around?

Tmoney, you have had your exhaust for sometime now, how do you like it?
Would you buy it again?
