So, I wanted to add some clarification regarding the "drone" of my touring exhaust, what I experience is a constant hum around any cruising speed, whether its 30mph or 60mph, when the rpm is resting between 1850-2200rpm. Not sure if that is what you consider as drone but sure enough it wakes up to a roar if I drop the hammer. Otherwise, if Im steady cruising at that rpm range that hum will be a constant background noise. No complaints from me tho, I like having my exhaust notice by my neighbors inside and outside of the cabin

Finally had my touring exhaust installed on Friday, yes there is a drone at the rpm range Tmoney mentioned but its not unbearable unless you have real sensitive ears.
If you step on it though, that is when the fun begins as there is definitely more backfire (even heard a crackle/gargle in comfort mode a few times), throatier and is loud enough for me.
I'll see if there is a change in sound over the next week or two as the exhaust breaks in.

I know what you mean, I definitely could not live with that. I'm on the fence about the touring setup. I'm kinda waiting to see other exhaust with the valve control option hit the market place.

Very nice and thorough real world review of the exhaust. I installed the touring edition 2weeks ago and I love the difference it makes even if its just about 10% louder, the exhaust is much throatier and the wastegate upshift farting is much more pronounced now and is guaranteed to happen on every upshift at WOT.
Also, have you noticed that the car shifts at a slightly higher rpm now after the install? The car is definitely more powerful on the top end now and I think it kinda hangs there slightly longer than stock after the install

EDIT should have read the rest of the post. Looks like everyone else is getting the humming as well. When i installed my exhaust the cross bar came a bit close to the exhaust pipes too. How can I tell if it is touching when I'm driving around?
