car towed, now lots of dash lights on....

This car is my wife's, not my daily driver. She was towed today and when she retrieved the car, CEL, ABS, brake warning light and others are now lit. Any idea how to clear these?

2016 C450 (no code 165 option..)
Mine was towed 2 weeks ago and the brake warning light was on after. The solution was the dealer replacing a wiring harness that was crushed with a tow hook (as they pull it onto the flat bed). $289 later it was solved

How was it towed? Car must be placed on a flat bed if not it can damage the transmission and other components.

I thought this was the case for only 4-Matic benz, not RWD.

Even on the RWD the electronic brake is automatically on. You can't just 'tow' it along the ground. They'd have to physically winch it up onto a flatbed with your wheels scraping the ground. Get MB to diagnose the car - if it's damaged as a result of the towing, you should be able to claim damages from the operator or through your insurance.

when your car gets towed in Boston you don't get to decide - or even know - how it was towed; you just return to your parking spot and it's gone.

Get someone with Xentry to run a diag scan on the car. It'll tell you exactly which modules are registering events (not all of which show up as lights in the cabin) and more importantly it'll show the exact odometer reading of when each event occurred. If you've kept a log you can easily map that event back to the time and place and potentially use that in evidence that it was caused as a result of the towing.
