speaking of which, i just saw a zonda cruising on the highway. don't know if the car was tuned or not, but the exhaust note was orgasm to my ears. first time i ever watched a zonda on the road, and the guy wasn't shy, he was doing short bursts here and there. i just could not keep up with that dude on my c300.......LOL
Lucky.. I never saw a Zonda in the wild. But I guess NYC is not where they run wild.. Upstate NY roads? Hampton Roads (Dune Rd)? Sunrise highway is the place to do triple digits BTW (usually no cars on the road and lengthy straight-a-ways.)Originally Posted by NYbenzzz

Do you guys ever have a NYC W205 meet up?

So, I may not have noticed this earlier due to being over excited about the car, but I recently noticed that the car has a little bit of a jerk when shifting from 1st gear to 2nd, and an even harsher jerk when shifting from 2nd to 3rd. After that, it's buttery smooth for all the remaining gear. I've read that this seems to be a common issue and that a transmission update at a dealer should resolve the issue, but I'm curious if anyone has noticed this.
Having driven manual before, I'm almost positive this is because the car shifts from 1st to 2nd a little bit early, and from 2nd to 3rd way too early causing that split second jerk. In fact, when I switch the car to manual mode, I can easily avoid the jerk motion by shifting a little bit later on the RPM. I have an appointment with my dealership this Monday to get it checked out, but I am wondering if you have any extra information on the issue.

Haha.. Thanks! They're actually not too bad in person but the 18s and 19s aren't even a question! Do you know where on ebay I can find 18" wheels/tires for that price? Most of the ones I've found have been upwards of $2,500...
Here's a new take off set of the popular black factory Mercedes 18" AMG wheels/MOE tires (without TPM sensors) on ebay for only $2,099 with free shipping...Originally Posted by alyshehata

Looks tacky & cheap...plus the silver portion would reflect onto the front windshield during the day.Originally Posted by S500Sport
