Brake Pad Sensor
Hi, My W205 220 Sport plus has starting showing me a "Check Brake pads" warning, is there any way of telling if its the front or rear sensor?
Also what's the opinion on having the pads/disc replaced at a non certified dealer? My local dealer has quote £198 to replace the front pads and £450 for pads and discs and that's without seeing the car

By design your front pads wear out first, however if you want to check--- lift the front end turn the wheels to a position that you can view and inspect the pads insert a pad wear gauge--what do you get??

In my case back pads wears out first, but only after 50.000km)))))) Front looks like almost new)))))) don`t ask how I drive, I drive fast but on cruise)
