First Year Maintanence - Service A

Coming to almost 1 year. Service A needs to be done in couple of weeks. Couple of questions:

Can I go to a certified Benz indy to do the work and not void warranty? It's pretty much only an Oil Change.

Since I only have 4,200 miles on the car, do I even need one? Can I bypass it? If so, will it void warranty?

2016 C300 4Matic traded in for a 2022 E450 Coupe
If the car is flashing the maintenance due message get it done.

You can use any service provider and not void the warranty.

Synthetic oil should be changed once a year, regardless of mileage.

Just for arguments sake... Does synthetic oil sitting in the jug at the auto parts store have an expiry date, or does the clock only start when the oil hits the oil pan?

Oil unopened in the jug should be good for a very long time. Once it is in the engine and exposed to fuel, air, acids created by the combustion process, other contaminants, etc it stars to degrade.

Will I put my warranty at risk if I do a service B myself? I have always enjoyed working on my cars, it's one of my hobbies. I will use MB parts and Mobile 1.

Save your receipts and document the service. As long as it is done, and you can prove it, you'll be good.
