E Class Coupe AMG Sport

Changing trim to black

Hi there,

I have just bought a C Class Coupe and can't wait to pick it up in a few days time. However, there is one mod I'd like to do straight away...

I'd like to change the colour of the chrome splitter/lip on the front bumper, the silver louvre on the grille and the chrome trim around the window all to gloss black.

Here are photos of my car and photos of a c class with gloss black trim to show what I mean.

What would be the best way for me to do this? Paint? Wrap? And should I do it myself or get a pro to do it? Any advice welcome - thanks!

That car looks like it's got the night pack. For yours I'd suggest a wrap and a pro to do it. Go cheap and it will look and last cheap.

I got it done on my C43 Sedan as the car was sitting in the dealer lot when I purchased it and did not have the night package installed.

Delivery day without Night Package

Rear being wrapped in one piece

Thanks for the replies and advice guys. I've ordered a piano black diamond grille from ebay and have booked the car in to have the chrome wrapped in gloss black at a local garage next week. Looking forward to seeing the result!

nice looking C 43! Other than wrap, an alternative is to plasti dip the pieces, buying OEM night package part is the best way but also the least economical way.
