SMS Not Working
Hi Guys,
I have a C63s 2015 with the full command system etc.
My Iphone 6s is connected via bluetooth and I can recieve and make calls.
But if I click the sms icon it says error or if I try to send one it says message sending failed.
Any ideas why?

Go into your settings -> bluetooth and tap the little "i" icon next to your MB entry. Inside you should see an option called "Show Notifications" or something of that sort, make sure that is enabled. Then, I usually restart my phone and the COMAND system but I'm not sure if that's 100% needed. To test it, just text yourself something but be sure to lock the phone as soon as you send it. I don't think SMS gets forwarded unless your phone is locked.

Hi,
I did try that but with download it says error when trying to download, then says nothing to download even though there is unread messages. If I try to send, while stationary, it just says messaging sending failed

I have the same problem with my iPhone 7. My C350 worked fine with my iPhone 4. Now with a newer car and a newer phone, the feature doesn't work. This is progress?
UPDATE - just updated to iOS 10.1.1 and I can now see text messages. Too bad COMAND won't read them like my C350. Wonder why they removed that feature? It was kind of fun to hear the robot voice voice screw up the pronunciation of names, and add "FULL STOP" when it saw a period.
