Has anyone bought or used this mod yet? I didn't even know about it or realize Dinan had made something for a non BMW car until someone posted this the other day. The fact that Dinan made it and the simple installation/removal of just plugging it into one sensor makes it very appealing. Plus the price $299.99 and you can track the boost from your phone live, this thing seems amazing! Im sure the change in performance won't be crazy but still I would imagine I could feel a little difference.

Yup. It's been mentioned here quite a bit. I bought it recently and I like the performance. It's nothing crazy, but I had to remove it last week for a dealer visit. On my way there and back, I could really feel the lack of extra power. Reinstalled it yesterday and the little kick is back and it's a much more enjoyable drive. By the way, the mobile app is not the best. The boost sensor hardly ever works in time (it's usually lagging by a good 5-10 seconds, but it is useful to set the mode and return to stock if needed).

Interesting, thanks for the response. Is it easy to install and how long does it take?

It's really easy to install. I installed mine in about 2 minutes. You basically unplug the boost sensor (this may be tricky because you have to first pull the white clip outwards until you hear it click, then to remove the sensor, you push the white clip down and pull outwards.. I didn't know that so it didn't come off until I discovered the mechanism). After that you plug the Dinan harness into the sensor and the port, attach the dinan somewhere in your engine using zipties. Careful not to tie it to any pipes as I noticed some scratches on the pipes when I removed the Dinan, probably had it too tight and it kind of left a mark on the pipes. I've now attached it on top of the ECU.

yep, several people on here have it including me. been really happy with it thus far. As the above post stated, nothing crazy performance wise, but for a bit extra "kick" it is definately worth it for the price of entry!

Ordered it today, would be great if there any pics or a video for this? I have zero knowledge when it comes to getting dirty with cars.

"UP TO" 30hp seems a bit vague don't you think? Why this over racechip which can provide better gains for similar money and with warranty?

race-chip seems to be twice as expensive but twice the HP as well.

Be careful since RaceChip is a little harder to install. I would say it would take about an hour if you are not familiar with the engine compartment since you will need to remove the ECU and another container to reach the second port it needs access to.

Thanks for the video man. Just ordered my mod, can't wait for it come. Assuming you keep your c300 in sport+ mode with race+ mode on the dinan?

I've kept mine in sport + just because I haven't messed with it honestly.

In the 20 hp range . Nice gain for the price of entry! Just take it off before going to the dealer, it's 2 mins (if that) to install or remove it

They claim 30 HP but it's more noticeable in the lower range at lower speeds in my opinion. You'll be able to feel a good kick when accelerating.

Also, I only remove it if the dealer is doing any engine work or updates. I had the car in the dealer for a light bulb replacement in the interior and I didn't remove it. They didn't say anything.

Have been reading about the tunes on another thread and this one seems to be best one to get based on ease of install and price. I'm personally more interested in torque gains as I don't drive fast but would like faster off the line experience. But quick question to those with it installed how are mpgs looking? If mpgs are equal or even better for daily driveing then I would def think about getting it. The car has enough pep for me but who couldn't use more. Most posts are about gains of course.
