My experience with Vivid Racing

I have ordered a C450 piggy back from vivid racing as a Christmas gift for my dad. He totaled his old car and now he is driving the 450. Only complain I got is lack of HP.
The transaction was smooth, I received the kit in 3 days. However, Them moment I took the boost sensor off, I realized the wire harness they sent me was wrong. I sent them a mail about the issue, they admit they have sent me the wrong kit.
I am lucky to talk to them with a wrong piggy back, not broken engine.
They told me they are out of stock and they are going to order a kit from vendor directly ship to me.
I need it by end of Friday so I can install it for my dad on Christmas eve.
Then I got the lack of communication, they don't response my mail, I have to call them every time to get an update. I absolutely hated that, I have fired one of my employee because he can't get back to the customer fast enough.
In the end they sent out the kit from UK via DHL. As I am writing this post, it is still in transit.

Sorry to hear. I have done extensive business with them and have been luck. I order for Christmas as well the piggy back tune for the C43 (same as the 450) and it arrived in time and as expected. The up side your dad will love the change the tune will do to the car. Night and day.

vividracing company is legit? I am in the market to buy a Weistec M113K Modular Crank Damper 170mm Mercedes Benz for my '04 E55 from either Vivid or horsepowerfreaks.com? Has anyone ever ordered from them before, they said they would wave the shipping costs and don't charge tax, Vivid charges like $13 for shipping which isn't too bad I guess.

I don't see why people do the Vivid piggyback. sub-par numbers and an inflated price.

I went OE Tuning. Much more power, a full flash, and much cheaper thanks to their holiday sale.

for me it was a no brainer, did not want to deal with the dealer issues. Piggyback comes right off and your back to normal. My CLA45 has a flash and I cant tell you how many times the dealer has "you know that flash could void your warranty if anything were to happen to the motor" so I wanted to avoid the BS plus the C43 is a lease and my 45 is owned.

What flash do you have on the CLA?

I was under the impression that a full flash was undetectable by the dealer because it was a "full re-write" of the software, and not just a "flash"
