How to Get the Inside of Windshield Clean
I can't believe we're having this conversation. You "waffle knit microfiber cloth" people are like religious people. Just can't stand that people don't do what you do. I'm not trying to make you use newspaper, so why do you guys have such a hard on for this micro waffle cloth crap?
Oh and FYI, I don't get a newspaper delivered either since I'm pretty sure no one has in the last decade (way to sound like an extra huge douche on that one btw), but my mailman loves to stuff newspaper adds in my mailbox all day long. So my final thought for you: Think outside of the box.
My apologies for adding a bit of sarcastic humor into my post. Forgot not everyone has a sense of humor.
This is not rocket science ... use what works for you.
Man you guys take this stuff serious.

Microfiber is superior to newspaper when cleaning glass, or any other surface...simple as that.
What I am saying is, why do you need that much cleaning capability on the inside of your windshield? It's completely obvious that microfiber is far and beyond superior to pretty much any cloth, let alone newspaper, but I just don't see why it's needed in this case. How dirty is the glass inside your car? Mine only ever has a bit of a haze on it so it just needs a quick wipe with ANYTHING that doesn't leave streaks or remnants; Hence why newspaper is a great option. Use it and toss it. DONE. No need for washing a towel.
My comprehension is just fine but looks as though yours could use some work

But the difference is I don't care what you use. I never made claims that one or the other is superior. I even admitted to you that microfiber is the superior medium. I'm just saying newspaper is perfectly fine. But you can't stop with your whole "If you don't use microfiber waffle **** pattern triple awesome weave, then you're doing it wrong" argument.
So yes, tis hilarious.
Edit- damn this forum even sensors "c.o.c.k."? WTF!

Back to the main issue, I am SO GLAD to see I am not the only one dealing with this problem. Its normal to have a haze form over a few days time, but in my case its thick and heaver DAILY! I live in South Florida so I thought maybe the heat was playing a part in it but I even purchased a factory cover for the interior and it fits great! But if anything the haze seems worse since I started using it a few months ago.
I have tried EVERY kind of cleaner and wiping combo out there and it turns out the best thing for me is the handy towels and soap suds from my local car wash! Interestingly all the other things I tried always left a haze that I had to instantly turn around and buff off with another towel! But if I soak one of the towels at the car wash with accumulated soap suds say in the trunk area etc and use that to clean and then take a dry cloth to dry the glass comes out flawless and I don't have to go back and re-buff the glass. But without fail the next morning I will come out to my car and the haze monster has returned!
This is my second E350, my first was an '08 and had a similar issue but it was clearly tied to the AC. If I used it the day before then I'd usually see some build up on the glass the next day, but nothing like what I am dealing with now.
After seeing the "breathing" thing I am wondering if my windshield screen could indeed be the culprit. I will have to remember to not install it one day and see if I notice a difference the next morning.
