problem opening / closing doors with key

Hi everybody and Merry Christmas; on my C Class C180 BlueTEC Executive W205 year 2015, there is a strange problem with key: when it overheats, for example it remains in pocket of the trousers for some minute, key is not allow me to open/close doors of car and trunk; therefore key suffers of temperature too hot.

I believed problem was door's sensor but, after several experiments, I realize that key is responsible of problem; strange thing is also spare key has same problem.

This situation exists since buying of car in 2015...

According to you, what is problem? Thanks

faulty key electronics, report it to a dealer and ask them to swap it.

I never heard of the key "overheating" from being in a pocket.

Could be one of several things: weak key battery, software update required, etc

Since the vehicle is still under warranty, should be a no cost visit to the dealer.

nah, has nothing to do with keeping it your pocket unless you got great ***** of fire. In that case, you better get that looked at first.

We have solved: it was need to press at the same time both buttons on key (opening and closing) for 10 seconds... We have heard a strange noise at the car but than problem is gone away.

Thanks a lot to everybody.
