B Service Air Filter Change

Hello All,

So recently the maintenance minder on my 2015 c300 said the car was due for a B service, which includes a plethora of inspections, an oil change, "replace dust filter", and "activated charcoal dust filter" (these are quotes from the manual). My question is, should I replace the air filter under the dashboard, the one under the hood, or both?

Thanks,

Sam

If it says to do dust and cabin filter, you have to do both (i.e. dust filter is under the hood and charcoal filter is near the glove box)
Here's a thread that shows both locations in case you need it.

I brought both to do the B service but decided not to install them; they both look really clean when I pulled them.

Mine were clean as well, I just used compressed air and blew them out.
