Doubt it, though I could be wrong.

My last gen C-class (pre-2012 refresh) had a screen that - once you got it going - could be returned to being hidden in the dash and controlled via steering wheel buttons.............but not this one from what I've experienced.

I'm pretty sure you can set a shortcut to the same feature in our favourites as well.

that's exactly what I've done - set it as a shortcut using my favorites button. The screen is too bright for driving at night
