Hi all, recently a new icon appeared on my comand screen that I can't find the meaning in the manual.

Does anyone know what is it signaling?





Icon is kind of car with on top a wifi signal icon.

This means that you are using Bluetooth or USB tethering with your phone.

I was using it even before, but this appeared only a day ago. I will try to disable tethering and see if it goes away.

I think that is wrong. I believe this indicates your car is communicating with MB services to support Mercedes ME functionality.

when tethering is active the phone signal bar shows yellow two way arrows.

And I think you are right. Tethering is not active until I do not start using an app or browser. That icon is now on from when I do start my car.

Also now that you mentioned it, it first shown after I opened my car via mercedes.me app for the first time.
Is there a way to take it off or it is going to be there forever?

No way to remove other than turn off Mercedes me functions at your dealer.

It means I'll need to learn living with that icon as I use it often. To be fair I only use the aux heater option as the remote is not always with me and at home the car is out of reach for the remote.

whats DAB? is that European sat radio equivalent to SiriusXM over here?
