Hey guys, has anyone else noticed the C43 has the AMG badge on the LEFT rear portion of the trunk and the C43 on the right? All the AMG i have seen and owned in the past have had the AMG badge on the right side? Silly observation but i was wondering if that was a european thing or if they are reversed for a reason?

Any thoughts?

Even though the c43 isn't a real AMG (), by moving the C43 into the AMG family the logos were reversed to match other AMG cars.

You guys been living under a rock?
Mercedes Benz is a company that makes cars.
There used to be some guys called AMG who got rodded Godtleib's cars. These guys made such cool cars that Mercedes-Benz bought em and made these specialty cars a whole performance division of their brand.
Enter the new millennium to a day where brand is everything.
Mercedes-Benz makes AMG a thing that is so effing cool that a guy in this board tattooed their weird logo on his arm (dude, ballsy tattoo, but that thing has flowers and springs on it, CRAZY). They realized that like adding the word "craft" before burger means you can charge an extra $1.50.
Model year 2015 Mercedes-Benz begins to co-brand, (like they did with McLaren) and creates the Mercedes-AMG vehicles.NJ
These cars did something mind blowing; never been done before! They say, "ya vee vill move das AMG logo to der left side". This was done do differentiate the full blown AMG cars from a new line called AMG Sport. What happened to AMG Sport you ask? Oh now they're just called Mercedes-AMG also.

Thank you for the in depth answer! I was wondering why the change from right to left. So now all full blown AMG, including the C43 will have the AMG badge on the left. Looks awkward in my opinion
