So what is this ?



Hi Guys.
Alright so as you can see at the rear trunk of the car just underneath the chrome piece i have noticed the transparent looking thing as if the paint or clear coat of the car is coming off and its quite noticeable in certain light conditions. I picked up the car not long ago and just overly sensitive about it considering i have paid a bit more for the cardinal red paint. And no i cannot feel it running my finger across it.
Some feedback's would be appreciated.

Did you try hitting it with a clay bar? It looks like there is a similar residue on the chrome.

In the pic it looks like residual protective wrap but you should feel an edge.
