I pick up a new 2016 C300 4matic this week and as an avid DIY'er I always purchase the service manuals for my cars and motorcycles. I prefer an actual manual over digital media. I've been searching but haven't found them yet.

Does anyone know if the w205 manuals are even available, and, if so, where is a good site to get them?

Never seen any in hard copy. The info you want is all contained in the MB Workshop Information System (WIS) which is part of the Xentry software suite. The Chinese have made a living out of cloning the diagnostic system and selling them online along with the software. I wrote a review of one such kit a while back here in case you want to read about it.

Never mind DBOC205..Started reading your post and see where you went with a diagnostic tool. I am looking for a simple solution that reads codes and allows for resetting of code. I am leaning towards either the
Autel Maxidiag Elite MD802 or the launch crp 123
