USB Interface Problem

C 200 Sport W205
C200 W205 USB port 2 not working
Hiya
This is the first time I have used this site. I have C200 W205 2014 which has 2 usb ports in the arm rest storage box. USB port 1 works satisfactorily. USB port 2 satisfactorily charges my phone but doesn't recognise the USB drive. I have changed the USB unit but it behaves exactly the same. I was hoping someone has come across this and found a solution. Is it a software issue or potentially the head unit or something else?
