C400 Back from Dinan...

I installed the Dinan sport tune on my C300 yesterday and I got my first chance to test it this morning. The business park where I work has a few nice straights where you can do a nice standing stop launch. I can say without a doubt I can feel the difference in acceleration. One other thing it does seem that with the windows down the turbo is distinctly louder and I can now hear the diverter at gear changes.
As I have mentioned I have an R53 MINI with a 17% reduction and I would put this tune in line with the pulley in the MINI. Keeping in mind the pulley install took nearly 3 hours and coast with labor over $500, this is pretty good bang for the buck!

The dyno sheet that was posted is the correct whp numbers? It states the c400 made 310 whp at base which seems incorrectly high when its rated at 329 at the crank according to Mercedes.

For instance, this from RENNtech regarding their tune for the C450:
"Note: Mercedes M276 engine performance when measured obtains higher numbers that rated from factory."

So... there's like a 10mph difference in a drag...
Made this tonight. The launches in the side by side at the end are timed exactly to start at the same time. It took me like 10 minutes to line them up properly. I think I'll make a different video tomorrow if I get a chance

Installed mine tonight. I struggled to find a spot I liked where the unit was stable and the wires were clear, but not hanging. This is the best I found.
Super easy to connect the connectors. Setup the app, race mode...ready to go.
Went for a quick drive...it's dark and wet out, so didn't go too crazy. Definitely feels more powerful overall, both in Comfort and S+. Need to do some more driving, and hopefully be able to get my Gtech meter connected for some numbers.

My Tuner arrived yesterday and fitted today. Must say a very easy install and Bluetooth connection. can't wait until we get to give this a work out...................Maybe Thursday

I did couple of quick Gtech runs this morning. Stock vs Race, 0-60 improved from roughly 4.9 to mid 4.5. Regardless of the actual number, a 0.4 to 0.5 improvement is pretty significant. Drove the rest of the way in Stock, and definitely noticed some power was missing. I'd like to get a few runs on each for consistency...

The money is too little to fret over. I leave it in stock. It's a good device, just not enough for me.
What I want is likely a chimera: more horsepower than this produces, without removing my chip or potential for reducing engine useful life.
I should have bought a 63s, though I love my car.

For my C400, significant improvement in performance. The unit is in RACE, and I'm usually driving in S+ mode. Highly recommend for the price of entry.

I can see that it's all relatively easy from all the DIY instructions and pics. But has anyone documented the installation for a YouTube upload? I mean for the technically unsophisticated people like myself?
Saw one for the C300 a couple days ago, but just one for the 400 or 450, but only documenting some post installation acceleration testing.
