Thanks a bunch; may need to do so. Took a look under the hood Saturday, and quite frankly the thought 'kinda tight down there; will have think about navigating this step 'fore I order' did cross my mind.

Who knew?

The connector is a little tricky, but easily removed once loose. If you can find a woman or a 12 year old to do it, it will be a snap.

It is really very easy.

Russ, as hard as some of us were on it, I suspect not. It is nice to have that little something extra available.

I used a small flathead screwdriver to loosen the clip. Just be careful not to damage it.

As I recall, the sensor clip has a small tab on top, that you push down. Is that right?

That's great advice: I'd hate to think of the replacement costs....

That tab actually slides. That's what I needed the little screwdriver for. My fingernails were too short to grab the little *******

O.K., so, you need a midget, with a small widget, to slide a small tab....

Once my GLC43 is broken in, I'm going to swap the Dinan over to it. I'll try to take some pics when I do.

Incorrect, it slides back.

A long screw driver with a small blade inserted between the white locking portion (which slides back when unlocked) and the black portion of the connector itself...then a slight twist...and you can feel the "click" once the white lock portion is unlocked.

Then you can pull out the connector from the intake pressure sensor.

Hello...hello....hello.....

Well, you can never be too careful....but a sharper photo would likely help.

Im guessing the dinan woun't make a noticeable difference in 0-60 times.
Just watched this
stock c43 with 367 HP/520NM vs tuned c43 434HP/643NM

Maybe a little, Russ. Thinking some of those who've done it can give us the lowdown.

In other words, if we're getting 40/40 and considering RennTech's dyno rated us @ 375/398, that takes us to roughly 415/440..........nothing to sneeze at.

So when also considering the 4-matic's grip, I hazard a guess that the extra is noticeable, and while probably not anything mind-blowing, probably something our butts will DEFINITELY feel. And like. In fact, if memory serves, someone here has posted we get some serious extra oomph in the mid-range, already a strong suit. Go-to-jail speeds come quickly in stock tune.

Better still, I've done basic upgrades on other vehicles that added about 15-20% more HP (30-40 something) via SLP or equivalent Cold Air Intakes, K&N hi flow filters, Flowmaster 40 series muffler upgrades. I felt that, so I'm optimistic.

Yup, deja vu all over again, but nice to have some objective data.

Thanks for the link...good stuff. The guy put the Dinan unit on top of an already tuned car...and made even more power, love it!

First time I've read about the limp mode / check engine light issue...something to watch for I guess.

I've run my Dinan in Race mode pretty much since the day I got mine (I think I got it in the first batch after the 'trial' they did with a couple/few people). It has been fantastic, and the car runs like a scalded dog now. I think I'm going to get the OE tune next. Just need to figure out this wheel/brake wobble.. wtf

I had mine back in stock mode for a few days (was in race since I installed it), just to see the difference going back the other way to stock. Bone stock seems slow now!

I have the C300 unit. It's a modest change but I like it. Worth the money IMO. I typically have it at +3 PSI. There's also a Valet mode that reduces boost to -6. Handy if you have a teen driver.

hi I bought one for my c-class 300 sport 2.0 and installed it and I have it set to tace mode but I don't know if I can feel the difference. There still lag at the start when taking off. I wonder if I uninstall it and see if there's a difference. Is your car the 6 with twin turbos?

the turbo 4 Dinan sport is good for about 20 HP and 20+ torque. Not quite as robust as the Dyno posted above on the 3.0L , but still a decent bit of power for $299
