Leasing a service loaner

Does anyone know how miles on service loaner affect the residual? Do you just buy the car as if the counter were 0? Or is there a calculation. So my car has 8K on the clock. Since I want to dive 22K over 3 years, giving the car 30K, would I just use a new car 30K residual?

I leased a service loaner but I'm not 100% sure about that answer. My lease had 4k on the odo and my paperwork shows I have to return it with 49k after 3 years, 15k/yr. It worked out to be a great deal because they took $10k off the SRP.

I'm pretty sure mine was based on the original MSRP.

The residual is usually predetermined. Existing miles (due to being a service loaner) will determine the discount offered to you. As mentioned by hollakid619. Your counter begins at delivery date as you mentioned.

2016 C300
I recently leased a service loaner.
MSRP 51905
Selling price 40380
Residual was marked down to 54% from 56% (which is the usual for 2016 cars) due to the car having 5300 miles.
MF was standard for 2016 models.
You get the car as if it was 0 miles. Whether car has 5k miles or 8k miles, you are given a full 45K miles on top of that number

Payments came out to 440/month for a 36 month/15K miles deal. I put down 5 security deposits. You can do up to 10 security deposits, but in the past when Ive tried to transfer a lease, buyers usually don't want to give you any money even though deposit is refundable. I normally get tired of cars quickly and transfer the lease
