Replace halogen with LED bulbs

Replace halogen with LED bulbs
For the life of me I don't know why Mercedes still has halogen standard. I bought a used 2015 C300 and the only option were LED lights or halogen + rear view camera so I picked the latter thinking I can easily swap out the halogen bulbs with more pure white LED bulbs (I would hire a professional of course)
Has anyone done this before? I'm worried that it would somehow burn mess up the wiring onboard the car and cost me thousands AND also void my warranty.
Am I being unreasonably cautious?

Electrical draw should be different. LED's use much less power than halogens. I don't know what the wiring differences or power supply differences are between these two systems.
Also need to look at the light housing itself. They are usually specific to the bulb type since their light output is different. This is why people sticking LED's or the popular Sylvania bulbs in their cars can end up blinding oncoming traffic because the light output is not optimized for those old housings. But from behind the wheel, everything looks great so they don't care.
