Taking forever to pump in Costco.

Hey guys.
I just filled up in Costco.
Just in Costco I notice the gas will cut itself off and I have to reposition it.
I know this is just because of the fill up cap that costco puts in that makes it
harder to gas MB or any other Euro car (My BMW does the same thing).

However, my issue today was that it was taking FOREVER to gas not really because it cut itself off as usual but the gas it self would go in very very very slowly. There was a F10 5 series and Ford F150 behind me. I left with the F150.... it took 3 cars to fill up. It didn't even fully fill up it left about a gallon or two but I left costco because I felt bad to make people lag behind me.

Do you guys think its the one bad pump that pump the gas slowly or
issue with the car?

I guess too. Nothing was leaking or anything. It was just super slow.
Do you think it could've been any user error? I just hate costco pump but their prices force me to go

I've experienced this on my coupe. Happened once and I left early too. Didn't experience it again. Next time I went to that Costco, I picked another pump and had no issues.

If a station's storage tank of a particular grade of gasoline is running low that can cause the pumps to slow down when delivering that grade. Or it could be a chronically defective pump. Not the car's fault.

gotta be the pump or storage tank. i get gas from costco majority of the time and have never had this problem.

btw, do you go to the pump aligned with the direction of the gas lid? or do you go opposite and have the hose extended? i doubt this has anything to do with it but i always go in the same side as the gas lid even if the line is shorter for one with opposite side.

mine stopped filling all the way up. id fill it up and it wouldn't go above halfway. i actually had a bad fuel pump and the w204s was in the engine bay but this one is in the gas tank. had to have the entire gas tank replaced

so that's something to watch for
