Is there a way to turn off the traction?

Is there a way to turn off the traction control completely off on the C450?
Want to know for track days.
Thank you!

Assuming it's the same as the C63, press and his hold the traction control button for several seconds until the display says traction control off...

The C450 doesn't go truly off. If you shut it off, it is actually in a "sport" mode, which is supposed to be reasonable for the track. The C43 (and C63) add a third, truly off mode.

You can try setting Dynamometer mode in the service menu. It should disable all traction systems.

Good video to post, thanks. There have been a few posts of people not finding Dyno mode. I don't know if it is because it isn't there in all models or all countries, or if they just couldn't find it.

That said, I'd want to know more about it before taking it on the track. I know in previous models it turned off all the electronic aids, which would include ABS and possibly also our poser differentials which uses brakes on one side to simulate a limited slip. Have no idea what it does to the 4Matic system. Not saying turning those off at the track are necessarily very bad, but I'd want to know what to expect from the car before getting it up to speed.

When I have some time, I'll see if I can find dyno mode in mine.
