No, it is not a TIPS inquiry.

A U.S. Based tips inquiry most likely won't find it.

It should. Lot's of people think San Diego is some sort of tropical paradise. What they don't understand is that once you get more than a couple of miles east of the coastline it's hot as hell! Most of SD feels just like Mojave. Or that's been my experience at least.

Are you going to buy the module and try it? If I lived down there I probably would.

I'm pretty sure all custom patches are generated through escalation via TIPS. This has been the process that a few people over on the PL used when they were struggling with gremlins in their C450 7G+.

But like I said, ours doesn't appear to have any of the gremlins that others have reported. It was a late build completed in March of '16.

Believe as you wish, but I'm telling you most will never find it this way.

The MidCity unit, which also lets you lock in your preferred Agility setting, is now down to $174.

May be worth it for the agility settings. Don't care about the auto stop/start. It works well and have only had one time in the past three summers when I took my food t off the brake momentarily to get the AC back on.

Got mine, today. Nothing like a Russian hacker! . That crap green light is gone, and yes, it is worth it.

One minute to remove something Ajax couldn't take off.

This thing looks like the Progressive Snapshot nanny device, but instead of Flo watching you drive, Uncle Putin is.
Plugging something directly into the OBD2 gives this thing access to a lost of systems on the car doesn't it?

The Progressive unit has a GPS tracker and is capable of transmitting lots of data outbound. It costs Progressive a good deal of money to have that functionality (and they take their device back after the data collection period).

The port can be used to monitor a lot of parameters but I'd be surprised if the developers of this device have any interest in any of that. Then again, they are Russians...

Lost? All I know is I turned on the ignition and Hillary's face came up on Command with a diagonal through it....

I agree 100%. Why do some people feel the need to make obnoxious comments about this. I did the Mid City solution, and it was worth every penny to me. This reminds me of the Apple Fanboys - whatever the company sets up is OK with me...Well, it's not OK with me. Each to his own, but don't disparage people for their views.

Well, I live in Florida, not Alaska. So that doesn't work for me.

Did you go with the Mid City device or the one in the OP?

If you went with the Mid City one can you comment on the agility settings? Does it effectively save and revert to the Individual mode?

I think either device a relatively inexpensive mod considering how it's nearly impossible to find anyone capable of coding MB vehicles.

I've got the MidCity unit on the way as well as the Dinan piece. My plan is to settle on an extra boost setting on the Dinan and then lock in Sport mode and Eco Off. Stay tuned...
