Check adblue - See owners manual
While driving today this came up on the dash " check adblue - see owners manual" and the check engine light as well came on.
Driving a bit more and the vehicle said 450 miles till engine won't start. Does this just mean I need to fill the adblue up in the tank and it should remove both this warning and the check engine light?? I added a picture below to show what it says. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Any idea of how many gallons it would take to fill this tank up? I am about go add 2.5 gals and see how it goes. Should this solve the problem?

Mercedes sells quart size bottles for too much money. Get you *** to Autozone or any truck stock ASAP and buy some BlueDEF. A 2.5 gal box goes for around $10. Your car will begin counting power cycles once you run dry, and then your vehicle will be disabled, and you have to get towed to the dealer. Do not let yourself get too low in the power cycle countdown either. Even after filling the reservoir, you may have to take it to the dealer to reset.
My Sprinter has been a paperweight a couple times... I KNOW.

Thanks for the help. Will top up with the 2.5 gals. Anyone with me idea of the tank size in these cars by the way? I will try to fill up as much as possible so that this does not happen again anytime soon.
