Has anyone swapped in illuminated AMG door sills like the below? Curious how they're attached? Is it just a matter of prying up the existing sills and disconnecting the wiring?

Not tried personally as I don't own an AMG. Plus TBH I think they look a little naff.

That's my thought. It seems like it should be an easy 15 minute install job so at the really cheap price I'm curious to check it out and can always swap back to the originals. I believe the C43 has the AMG sills.

On every Benz I've owned the sill plates snapped in with clips. You start prying up one end and once you can get fingers under it pull straight up. To reinstall line up the clips and give the thing a few whacks with the palm of your hand. Haven't done the C specifically but that'd be my guess.

Did you ever end up going this? I'm looking into doing the exact same thing for my C450.
