That enclosure requires a separate sub amp. The signal from the factory amp alone won't be enough. Hooking it up directly will drop the impedance and might damage the amp.

Plenty of power (I had one in each of my W220 S Classes) but still efficient enough to be powered by the existing 12v in the trunk (tap the factory amp's power lead) so you're not running cable back thru the cabin from the battery.

It would be amazing if someone can giving us the wiring diagram/installation pictures for the burmester amp in the trunk. I'm sure this is the only think holding most of us back from installing it.
I've found the attached wiring diagram, but I cannot make any sense of it (I cant even find this connector on the amp LOL)
