Apple Watch - Frequent Reconnections Showing on Comand Display

I have an Apple Watch and whenever I am in my cars I notice that my iPhone will reconnect frequently to the Comand system. I have both a C300 and GLC300 and notice it in both vehicles, and my wife has same issue with her Apple Watch.

I am guessing that every time there is some communication between the watch and iPhone, such as an incoming email or notification, that this causes the disconnect and reconnect.

Any ideas on a fix? It is annoying and distracting to see the reconnection notification on the Comand screen so often.

I don't have that issue with my iPhone/ Apple Watch. Maybe try repairing the phone/car?

Good idea...the phones were paired with both cars before the watches came along.

A re-pair should clear this up. I had some goofy BT connection jumping when I first brought the car home. As soon as I would pull in the garage, my phone would start hopping between the BT speaker in my garage, the BT hub on our integrated home stereo, my Apple Watch and the car. I disconnected and "forgot" all connections and re-paired and haven't had any issues.

Unfortunately, this did not solve my problem.

A gaggle of MB's
I would try - delete old profile's - shut off system - turn system back on - then re-pair

Nope...still happening. I've deleted the phone's profile form the car, "forgot" the car from the phone, rebooted, turned off car, etc. Looks like I will just have to live with it.
