Must be programmable software as UK spec cars don't have Ignition chime.

Yes. Mercedes is trying to establish a Pavlovian response every time you open the driver's door to one of their newer vehicles

I'd like to program that to say "Hello Mr Bond"...
In all of the James Bonds movies ever produced, Mr. Bond has only driven a Mercedes once...an S400 briefly in the movie Skyfall.

Usually in the movies, it's the "bad guys" who drive a Mercedes.
