Tech training documents
Hi folks,
I used to be able to find tech training documents on the freely accessible Startekinfo us site - they are a downloadable web / html / hyperlink file that gave good info at a technical level on engine / tranny / suspension and all parts of a W model. Lots of block diagrams etc that show what effects what. I think they were used for sales people training, perhaps also techs.
I have ones I pulled down for W203, w203 coupe, R230, wonder if others have any on other models.
These are great as a resource - reason I thought of this I see quite a bit of assumption and erroneous opinions that would be cleared up by some of these more authoritative sources. Airmatic forum comments have quite a bit of differing assumptions!
Seems like this is perhaps locked away as part of formal education info that is charged for perhaps?
I notice W205 does not have a resources sticky like I've seen on some forums - seems a good idea to collect such things in one spot.
Ah, just spotted that these files are actually huge, w203 is 300MB, R230 80M. Guess that is why they re tucked away now.
Anyone know if I subscribe I can find the W205 version of this? See intro page of the R230 attached.
Ta Greg
