Rear camera not opening
So guys I had this very same issue with the rear camera that would not open, and I thought very hard about this and managed to get it to work again. My thinking was the rear camera was not being triggered when placed in reverse, so I reset the gearbox and this in turn reset the trigger for the reverse and then the camera worked.

Gear box reset if this is how you do it.
The gearbox reset procedure is unknown to me. My initial plan was to reset the battery by disconnecting the negative cable for 15 minutes, but I lacked the necessary tools. Alternatively, I attempted a reset by turning the ignition on (without starting the engine), shifting to reverse, which caused the camera to reappear, suggesting a successful reset. The camera malfunctioned after a collision with the license plate, resulting in a grinding noise and subsequent failure. The quoted $200 diagnostic fee seems excessive unless significant disassembly is required. So I'm tech savvy so I was trying every other Option before going to the dealer.
