Hey my w205 lease is almost ready for a upgrade...
I know that we should neg the price and not the monthly and so forth.,..
In about 4 months it will be time to order a 18 C class...
Now any advise on wtf to do in regards to negotiating on a custom order?
Any and advice is appreciated....

yes. I got 16% off MSRP on my custom order c450.
you negotiate the exact same way you would normally. All agreements should be made prior to ordering.

Well.. considering there is not a 2016 C450 here in the US ... I'd take that advice with a grain of salt..
1. You can Build-To-Order - "lease rates" are based on "delivery month" and not by month of order - so you will be able to dial in your exact lease deal for that month of delivery - and not waste too much time on "guessing" at time of order.
2. Check with your dealer on "pull ahead" - where you can take delivery of your 2018 before your lease end - and Mercedes Financial wipes the open/remaining payments on your 2015
I understand your comment about "focus on the price rather than focusing on the payment" ... well, I have two comments on that
1. Focus on the MB features/options you want and will enjoy - focus on the MB 1st
2. For the maximum bang for the buck - if the right "retired 2017 loaner" was out there - that's where you maximize bang-for-the-buck as it will lease as new with MBFS - at about 20%+ off MSRP
3. Whether %-Discount - Money Factor or anything - it ALL ends up with payment - there are those who like to "hammer out" the smallest things - where it's the final payment is what you will pay..

Yeah there were about a gazillion 2016 450's when I was looking. To the OP, I actually put a CC deposit and made a deal at 10% off MSRP on a 450 about 5 hours away (had my colors and options). Once I got up there and drove it I realized I didn't want a 450, but I liked the dealership and asked if they would do the same deal on a C300 build, which they did. (There was also a trade I was upside down on and they met my price in that, so I felt 10% off was fair).
