Exceed speed limit warning?

I'm not sure if this is available on the W205, but is there a way to hae a warning go off if you exceed a set speed limit?

With BMW and Audi, you can set a speed limit and if you exceed it, there will be an alert or a chime. I have a MY 17 car and tried looking for it but no luck so far. My car only has P3 package, no other driving assist packages other than parking assist.

Thanks!

The functionality you request is not available in the C-class. You can use the speed limiter, which not warms you, but limits your speed to the max you set. If you press the accelerator hard, the car will go beyond the speed you set.
To my opinion better than a beep every time you exceed the limit.

Thanks! I'm also not sure if this exists on the US models, scanned the owner's manual and didn't see anything about it.

Fortunately, there's an app for that

I have found Waze to be helpful for this, as well as for more-or-less reliable advisories about speed traps and cameras. Just plug your phone into the USB port, connect to it as a media device in the screen, and make sure the app is (a) active, and (b) set to audible warnings. It will beep over your music if you exceed the current speed limit. And a voice will announce reports of police or hazards. Helpful on unfamiliar streets where speed limit signs are few and far between.

The 222 has something like this tied in with the navi, you get the warning in the display of the speed limit on the road you are on. I've not seen it in a lot of cars though, so I don't know what packages it requires.
